How much video do your clients send you?
Put in how many clients send clips, how often and how long. See the gigabytes that land on your phone and cloud each week, month and year, and the minutes you spend watching. The sizes are typical approximations.
Your clients and their clips
Typical sizes for a recent iPhone. Your phone and the scene change them, so treat the result as a ballpark.
Fill in the clients and videos above and your video load appears here.
How much storage do client videos take?
Multiply the clips per week by their length in minutes and by the size of a minute of video. A recent iPhone saving in the High Efficiency format uses about 60 MB a minute at 1080p and 30 frames per second, about 190 MB at 4K and 30, and about 400 MB at 4K and 60. Thirty 30-second clips a week at 1080p is about 0.9 GB.
Why is my number different from my phone?
File sizes depend on the phone, the format and how much moves in the shot. Clips sent through a chat app are often compressed before they reach you. Treat this as a ballpark and check one real clip in your Photos app to calibrate it.
Once you know the load
The review time is the part worth fixing first. The 20-Minute Check-in System puts every check-in, videos included, into one block you can plan.
In Strength Academy your athlete sends a lift video in the app, and you annotate frames and reply with text or voice.
