For hypertrophy and physique coaches

Hypertrophy coaching app for bodybuilding and physique clients

Hypertrophy programs in Strength Academy use supersets, circuits and week-to-week progression rules, and a hypertrophy tab shows how many sets each muscle group got. You set calorie and macro targets for every client. Clients log the weight and reps of every set and track their bodyweight and progress photos in the same app.

How to coach hypertrophy in Strength Academy

  1. Build the session

Put the main lifts in a strength block and the isolation work in accessories. Group exercises into supersets or circuits, and set the sets, reps, load or percentage, and RPE for each one.

  2. Progress it into a block

Duplicate the week with progression rules that add sets, raise the percentage or raise the RPE target each week. The builder shows how the week splits between push, pull, legs and core.

  3. Check the volume per muscle group

For programs set to hypertrophy, the client’s hypertrophy tab counts the sets each muscle group got (chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms and core) and flags a group with fewer than eight sets in the period you are looking at.

  4. Set the nutrition

Give each client calorie, protein, carb and fat targets, with different numbers on the days you choose. The client sees the targets you set in their app.

What your clients track

Every set is logged with its weight and reps. Bodyweight and front, side and back progress photos sit in the health section of the client’s app.
