Best apps for Olympic weightlifting coaches
Four coaching apps we checked turn a percentage into each athlete’s weight: CoachLogik, Strength Academy, TeamBuildr and TrainHeroic. CoachLogik is built around weightlifting complexes. TeamBuildr suits school and team weight rooms. TrainHeroic adds a program marketplace. Strength Academy pairs percentage programming in kilograms with a flat price and unlimited clients.
Who made this list, and how we chose
We make Strength Academy, so we are not neutral here. Here is how we chose. On 16 October 2026 we read each app’s pricing page and its own help docs or blog. We kept the apps that meet all four criteria. We did not count claims from reviews. Apps are listed in alphabetical order, not ranked.
Selection criteria
- Loads can be written as a percentage of each athlete’s max, and the app works out each athlete’s weight.
- Athletes can send lift videos to the coach in the app.
- Prices are public and there is a free trial, so you can test it with your own block.
- The app’s own pages or help docs describe the first two points.
The apps, in alphabetical order

- Starter costs $49.98 a month for up to 10 clients, Professional $99.98 for up to 25 and Enterprise from $159.98 for up to 50.
- Its blog says each movement in a complex is tracked on its own, and any lift can be anchored to another movement’s max.
- Video review has markup, slow motion, frame-by-frame controls and voice-over. Every plan includes one month free.

Strength Academy
We make this appBest for: Coaches who write percentage blocks in kilograms and want to see volume and intensity while they write.
- Link any exercise to the max it should use, such as power snatch off the snatch. Without a link, the snatch, clean, jerk, front squat and back squat find their max by name; link the clean & jerk yourself.
- Week volume in kilograms and the average intensity of the main lifts show beside the week as you write it.
- When an athlete logs a complex such as power clean + jerk (1+2), each lift’s rep max is checked at its own rep count.
- Athletes send lift clips from their phone; you reply with slow motion, drawings and voice notes. Bar path tracing covers the snatch and the clean & jerk.
- Individual costs USD 69.50 (CHF 55.50) a month with unlimited clients. Strength loads are in kilograms only.

- Percentage loads adjust to each athlete’s maxes. A 2015 tips post shows front squat linked to the back squat max.
- Mobile video upload and max and PR tracking are in every tier. The trial needs no credit card.
